we have tried using rat poison but everyday the rat seems to eat a big chunk of it and it doesn't die, we tried fly paper but it was able to escape, we also have the electronic anti rat device but it doesnt seem to work

I worked for an extermination company for a short time.
There is a product that HOME DEPOT sells that is the same as the private company's use.
It is called; Real Kill-Rat and Mouse killer...All Weather Bars.
Black package GREEN colored bars and they work like magic...IF you are diligent and as the bars disappear, replace them for a couple of months LIKE CLOCK WORK!!!!!!!!!


I live on a perennial nursery farm, and my cats are useless in the winter under the covers! But this stuff is great!

fill a five gallon bucket half way with water. Fasten a peice of cheese to the rim. and fix a ram close to it. The rat will jump to the rim, fall in and drown.

Try the glue traps they make for this reason.Sold most hardware.
