Parapsychology is the study of the paranormal in psychology. This includes things like Telepathy, telekineses, hauntings and a host of other parnormal traits that have a relationsip to the human mind and the psychological effects that can both cause these thigns and be the result of them.

paraphycology means absolutely nothing as far as I know.. everyone is, from a parapsychologic position, taking it for granted that you mean parapsychology. from there on, except for those who poo poo something because they can't understand, I agree with most of what has been said.
oh, and by the way, it is not a sin to look up a word in the dictionary if one is uncertain of how to spell it.

Parapsychology is "fringe". It deals with unexplainable phenomena like encounters with the supernatural.
