We play video games and sometimes board games together. We walk around in our favorite stores a lot and just look around at the fun stuff. Drive around aimlessly. Go see movies (matinees only, because they are cheap). Sometimes, we go see live music if the cover is cheap. Other times, we entertain ourselves by visiting my nieces (always amusing).

We also just like to come home, sit in front of the fireplace, and watch t.v., too. Depends on what we have to do, and if we feel like going out.

Why don't you start working on plans for the future. That tend to be exciting. Express to each other your vision for the relationship: marriage, children, house (bigger house if you own one already). Dreaming and planing together is not at all costly (it's free) This tend to get some excitment in. Take sometime to cruise around the neighbourhod (or another community) looking at fancy houses and design your own. Or you may want to go out and watch a movie instead of staying in and watching TV. How about a dinner date. When last did you go on a date with each other. It doesn't necessarily have to be an expensive restaraunt. It could be a fast food outlet even. The important thing is your time together. Life is exciting there are lots to do that can keep a relationship exciting. Focus, be imaginative and most importantly rememmber the golden rule: do unto him what you would like done to you.

Me and my boyfriend were a bit like that. We live together so don't have very much money! We joined a gym about a year ago. Its only £30 a month each which is much cheaper than a night out and you can go as many times in that month as you like. Not only does it break the routine but its good for you too and you feel really good about yourself after you've been. I've dropped a dress size without even changing my eating habits! We've also signed up to to Amazon DVD rental service and get 3 DVDs per month for £6 which is much cheaper than renting them from Blockbusters or somewhere. On a Friday night we always cook a takeaway instead of buying one in! It costs about £12 for all the ingredients for a curry and a bottle of wine or some cans! If you want to go out for a meal go somewhere like Weaterspoons or a Smith and Jones pub. They have deals like two pasta dishes and a bottle of wine for £9.

I know it sounds a lot like just sitting and watching t.v., but many communities have "dollar theaters" (of course, the movies aren't just released---but, hey, a movie you haven't seen is a movie worth enjoying). Sometimes it nice (even with gas prices a bit high) just to cruise a bit, maybe drive to a nearby beach, park, or whatever, and just star gaze for a bit. You might try (if you're into them) board games or card games maybe with friends. When I was a kid, my parents would play dominos with friends. (I always referred to such as "bored games" because I just wasn't into small potatoes competitions, but to each his/her own!) You might join some organization concerned with some interest the two of you share. Go to a museum (if one is open somewhat late, after work) and then eat out someplace affordable, then just "mall walk" to kill some added time. It's not so much that you're always doing something exciting, but that you are periodically away from the day to day monotony, the same o' same o.' Go bike-riding together.

working and coming home to veg out is pretty much reality. But every once in a while turn the tv off, and make your own fun.. Greet him by lying naked on the sofa, greet him at the door with nothing on.. play hookey from work, and meet him at work wearing nothing but naughty lingerie.. Play strip poker, Better still try good old communication.. But put the spice back in your relationship. Dont let it stagnate much longer. Affairs have taken place over much less...

Not really.. play cards... board games.. have lots of sex.

Have children... me and the wife still do the come home and watch tv thing but not when the kids are around. They provide all the entertainment (and noise, stress and fun) we need these days now that we are a bit old.

Share a bath or shower, put some music on and talk, show him how to cook (easier things first) rent a movie, go to the local, go to a family place where things such as bowling/pool competitions are on. Arrange days/nights out to the theatre, cinema, park etc. The possibilites are endless.

If you like TV you might find that watching series is better than movies. They give you something to think and talk about. But of course, best thing is going out sometimes, drive aimlessly, go to a movie, etc.

If you like videogames, buy one of those complicated ones like Silent Hill or Final Fantasy and give it a try. I played Silent Hill with my girlfriend and we were both so scared that we huddled together in bed afterwards...

Play games on the computer, read to each other, play card games, play football in the back yard, go for a drive, go walk around malls, go to the park, have friends over, cook dinner together, take a bubble bath together.. all kinds of things to do, you just have to think about it.
