There are tie breakers in place. The first is record, the second is divisional, the third is who won the head to head match-up the forth is record against common opponents and the fifth is points scored and the sixth is points scored against common opponents.
Not positive but I think that's how it goes.

It would never happen but if by miracle they did there would be so much confusion...there would probably be a massive coin flip or something..i dont even think even half the teams would end up 8-8..and definently not all of them.
