Why not ask God?

Why is it that we that have lost control over our own lives and have zero control over other people think that we can ask or bargain with God to do our will and be better off?

If a person believes in a benevolent God, why not ask for knowlwdge of God's will and the strength to carry it out?

God decides when you are ready to go, not the other way around. He still had a perpose for you here, and he will show it to you when the time comes. You just have to keep an eye out for the opertunity. God bless.

Have a nice day :-)

you sure can. There are no prayers to big or small for God. Keep praying. It may not seem like He is listening but when it is your time you will be on the golf course. I will pray for you to come home soon. Happy Thankgiving.

instead of praying to die, why don't you pray for the strength to live and try to fight your addiction? there are so many people who want so much to live and won't , and you're throwing the chance away.

I know you are in pain. However, try seeking help from your local AA chapter. For online help and support I found this place a great place for support.
