Angry Libras?

Question

Any Libra knows that according to horoscopes, they're supposed to be "diplomatic, charming and self-controlled".

BulIshit.

Like 90% of Libras I know (myself included) have very quick tempers, are direct, bossy and when mad, downright psycho. None of the ones I know (again, myself included) are great with tact and all that fluffy crap. Anyone else notice this little trend? Hm. Maybe we've all got a zillion Aries in our charts, but I don't believe in the horoscope stuff too much, and this is a big reason why.

i am a libra and i have been told i am very diplomatic, im also normally the peace maker if there are 2 people in a dispute i can normally make them see there are 2 sides and help work it out. but----- i also have been known to have a very quick temper, am very stubborn and bossy when i get mad

If you look back, way back, into Egypt mythology. Libra derives from Cat. she was pretty hardcore. I'm a libra guy, and have a hard time understanding how innately, I pick up the target and put it on my body, step into the line of fire, and execute ruthlessly. I think what's most misinterpreted about Libra is balance. We want it, but it's never there, and so we counter what reality offers us. war and peace. or peace (dysfunctional), means war. We need the struggle to equilibrium, and aren't engaged so long as that equilibrium exists. And when it doesn't, then we engage, cold, warm, ruthless, caring, these things are tools and I'm happy to say I employ them with only the end in mind. My b-day is 10/7, and I'm incredibly fair, open, and utterly ruthless in prosecuting my judgment once I tho 51%. Make sense to you other libra's out there? Lemme know, would love to hear feedback.

They tend to be quite moody and aloof. They tend to keep their feelings and emotions bottled up. They have difficulty expressing themselves emotionally. They also dislike confrontation. This is not to say they never get mad, of course we all do, they are not machines, they are human. If you find you have a bad temper, more than average, it probably has to do with other placements in your chart. Check out your whole chart, and especially see where your mars is, as mars represents our physical side. It is our sexuality and aggression. Water and fire mars signs tend to have bad tempers. In my opinion of libras, they do not have the worst tempers by far, but they are often battling thoughts and emotions internally and because they have a hard time processing them, it tends to build up and create alot of emotional turmoil for them. When libras are upset or stressed about something they can be very irritable and snappy. I think that when alot of books say libras are diplomatic, it is more applied to a situation that doesn't involve them. If they are around people who are fighting, libras will hate that and try to calm the people down and charm them out of their bad moods. But when a libra is upset, they are not exactly diplomatic about their own behaviour.

I agree with u. I am a libran myself and I also have some fits of blowing my top and getting over it. I easily boil and let the steam off so often especially when I seriously get myself involved into something but doesnt turn out to be like the one I have in mind. I am aware that it has been written all over that Librans have this balance outlook, more on diplomacy and all that. But in reality we are influenced by a lot of stuff that the stars we are born into are not the only factors to contend with. We also have to consider our upbringing, the family traits we are born with, our exposure and personal preferences and prejudices. Horoscopes do not give us fool proof guides about a person's character. They are just there to give the general traits common among those born into that sign. These may vary because of several factors like genetics, environmental exposure, education, culture, religion and personal preferences and prejudices. There you go.. You know what. I was wondering the dame thing. I have a quick temper. Straight to the point & truthful to the point of being overly honest with people.

I have major angry one moment then happy the next syndrome.

When I speak to friends about their problems I am diplomatic. But when it comes to my own issues, its different.

I'm charming like the devil is charming... I use my charm to manipulate...

Glad to know these are normal Libran traits.

Although I have my moments where I am peaceful & self controlled. But it's hard. haha I have to fight myself to be controlled.

I'm VERY calm,cool,and collected and self controlled person.
You should NEVER base anything like astrology on reality anyways,sweetie.Its all realy just for fun,its NEVER all ''true''...
But it is been known for Librans to bottle up emotions so thats proberly why your the way you are.Most likely your JUST THAT WAY,NOT BECAUSE OF YOUR STAR SIGN though...
if its that bad see a doctor or anger managment somewere...

Yeah i just read my signs it is so weird to know that the things it says is mostily like me. I am a big baby though. I mean i am strong for my kids and i can hold my own but it is as though i want more affection or something. Not saying it is all about me but kinda like i want to be told nice things sometimes when i dress up or when i clean i like to hear thank you if not. EWW i do get made because i feel as though no one respects me picking up after them and still proceed to lay things around. I am proud though of who i am i dont need these signs to help me out i have God,

well thanks for the info, I am not into the whole astrology myth but from now on I will be sure to avoid any libras since they are downright pscho, I dont need any unecessary drama in my life ;)
