Any heavy bleeding warrants a visit to your doc. Keep in mind, if you haven't had a period since July, that should've been enough to send you to the doctor before now.

You are probably not pregnant, but when you have irregular periods, it's hard to say. It took me almost two years to get pregnant with the baby I'm carrying now, and we were trying. Everyone's different, though.

Before you do anything else, or ask any more questions, I would suggest asking a doctor, as they are trained to handle questions like yours, where we are not.

If you're still bleeding heavily (i.e. soaking through one pad an hour), you need to see someone in the ER. If it's slowed down, you can probably wait until tomorrow or even Friday (even the bleeding stops).

You need to put in an appointment with your doctor, though. You never know what's going on in there.

If you have not had a period in 4 months and are not on the Depo shot which sometimes will cause a female to skip periods or stop them completely, you should go and get checked by your OB/GYN, ASAP.

If you have taken a pregnancy test and it was positive and you know that you were pregnant at the time then yes it is possible.

My experiences with two miscarriages have been very painful ones, not just bleeding, because the body goes into labor to expel the fetuses from the body just as if you were giving birth.

You haven't mentioned whether or not you're sure that you were pregnant (or whether you're just thinking you might have been because of missing periods), but in any case, you need to see a doctor. Bleeding heavily like that is not ok.

my best advice is to go to your doctor right away! it is possible only a blood vessle was popped, but you MUST see your doctor! He or She is the only one who can tell you if you miscarried or not. Best of luck to you!
