I recommend buying one of those polishing cloths that some jewelry stores sell. They work for silver, and they have some type of dry solution on them that makes them work (I think).

All you do is wipe the jewelry with the cloth and it shines and takes off the tarnish.

These cloths aren't expensive, either. I paid about five dollars for mine through Avon or something like that.

Good luck!

You can try a product called Barkeeper's Friend, for polishing all types of metals. Otherwise, good old fashioned toothpaste - the pasty kind, not the gel.

Are they silver plated or rhodium plated? Moistened cigarette ash on a mushy toothbrush (ideally an old one). Toothpaste on a mushy toothbrush. commercial products might nicely be very aggressive if the plating isn't too stable.

toothpaste works great place it on a soft cloth and rub gently ...tarnish will come off easily, when you get them clean simply rinse them off with warm water,
