I did and it's quite normal to see nowadays. You have to feed a hungry kid, I say go for it!!

Breastfeeding in public is a beautiful thing. First, because the child has to eat. Secondly, it is completely natural to breastfeed a child because it show bonding between a mother and child. Beside, what do people think mothers did before formula and bottles, seriously breastfeeding in public isn't a big deal some people need to grow up because it has nothing to do with sex and it is not gross.

It is a completely beautiful and natural thing...as long as you are modest about it, throw a blanket over your breast and baby's head. Doctors around the world agree that it is the best thing you can do for your baby. We are the only country in the world that takes such issue with breast feeding yet look at all of the Americans obsessed with pornography and all the smut on the net....I see nothing wrong with it. In fact I strongly encourage any woman to breastfeed her child. I did with both of mine. I know it can be hard with all the hypocritical fools in the world, but as long as you know you are doing whats best for your child then what other choice is there, really??

That's what breast are for! Too bad the world has turned them into something else.I think the answer is YES!!! There is a decent way of breastfeeding.I don't mean it is okay to plop it in a babies mouth in front of everyone but you can place a blanket over you and keep covered and it is okay to breastfeed anywhere.Church, football games, the school, etc. It's really sad that some people oppose this!!! I think it is the best thing for babies and moms.IT has benefits for both and enhances bonding.When I see a woman breastfeeding a baby I think she really must care about her baby.

I wouldn't go so far as to say a beautiful thing, but it doesn't bother me. Except when the kid is too big to be breastfed - one of the mums at the kindy I work out used to breastfeed her two year old as soon as she got there and that kinda grossed me out.

I am a guy and have witnessed all the extremes. I have seen breastfeeding in church without a cover (outside US) and very private attitudes. Personally I think it's great you are nourishing your baby and it isn't exactly the same as exposing yourself for sexual reasons so it is OK, but at least use a cover. But opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one so do what you want.

It should not be done in public yes it is a part of life but somethings should be done in private. People need to use some common sense when they do things. Have a little class

As a male, I think it is a natural thing. However, it really depends on how the female goes about doing so. If it is in an off to the side spot somewhere, that's perfectly fine. However, I've had women try to carry a conversation on with me while feeding, a situation I felt very uncomfortable with. My wife fed both of our daughters, and she did so discretely, as to not draw attention to herself. Sadly, some women use it as a chance to be "revealing" and leave the male to wonder and imagine. I don't think it's wrong, as long as it's done in a professional manner.

I breastfed all of my children. I have fed them in restaurants, movies, church, home, shopping mall.....anywhere someone might need to give a baby a bottle. There is nothing more natural..Plus it's the best food in the world for the baby.
I'm guessing that the people who were "grossed out" were pre-teens....at the very least, they are childish. God gave women breasts in order to feed our children....

I can't say it's a beautiful thing, but it's one of the most natural things in the world. Done appropriately so the breast isn't hanging out there for everyone to see and it's no big. I say, go for it. Baby ain't gonna feed itself! LOL

I think is a beautiful wonderful absolutely amazing thing to breastfeed in public... if people don't like it they can either look the other way or complement your wonderful baby.
"Another way to think of it is you seen one boob you seen them all." I would cover up with a blanket thought also. Good luck! Don't worry about it. I would go for it! You feel really good about yourself when you do!
