This is a strange question because acid-base reactions are never redox, so there is never any such thing as an acid base reduction. The reaction between acids and bases is called neutralisation.

I'll guess cause your answers look blank... ...ACID has a lower PH, so if you add some to a substance that has an ALKALINE base, it will reduce the scale number.
