Hey, June,
Interesting thing about cancer. You can look at it as a curse, but at the same time it can be the best thing to happen to you. Why? Because it makes you evaluate your life. While you are a good person, you let your husband abuse/misuse you. You also put everyone else's needs before yours. If you are not the BEST you can be, you are not going to be the best you can be for others. You have to put YOU as a priority in your life. Whether this turns out to be cancer or not, take this life event as a very important message from your body...and spirit. Take time for yourself and stop the abuse NOW. There is a proven link between stress and our susceptibility to cancer.
Also, if this is cancer, look into "guided imagery." This is a special type of hypnotherapy that helps your body fight the cancer, enhances the benefits from conventional treatment, i.e., chemotherapy or radiation, and improves your overall quality of life. Believe me, if I had a cancer, that would be my first stop from the doctor's office.
All the best to you. I just have a feeling you will come out of this fine.

Maybe cancer, not for sure cancer. So until you have any real information, no point in worrying right now.
Always being concerned with other people is a wonderful trait (I wish more people had it), but there is a time in every woman's life when she has to take care of herself, and the heck with everyone else for a while.
My grandma told me a long time ago "You can't help anyone if you're not around, so you have to take care of yourself first."
She was always a caring, giving, good woman, but she never lost sight of her own needs.
And no one ever said she was selfish or self-centered.
So, you aren't alone, even if you feel like it right now.
Abusive husbands should be left behind in the dust where they belong - NO ONE has the right to abuse anyone.
(read a book called Without Conscience by Robert Hare - very interesting reading on people that abuse others).
Focus right now on getting well, regardless what the tests say. Your health and peace of mind are in your control, if you take that control in your hands.
Email me if you like, we can talk if you need a shoulder.

Best wishes... Keep your head up high... Think about yourself. tell the abusive husband to take a hike. Just think of yourself as the SKY and nothing could get passed you and you will do fine. Always do alot of research. If you need any support you may email me.

I went through that recently...here's what I did; expect the absolute worst..do some research and hit some chat rooms, and if the news is bad you've mentally prepared for it, and if it's good news YIPEEE.
Maybe this is the makers way of forcing you to pay attention to yourself for once..go get a manicure..

The big C doesn't discriminate does it? My grandma was the greatest person I ever knew and she got leukemia. Just keep your spirits up if you can. It will give you a better chance of beating it if that is what it turns out to be. Hopefully it won't. I'll keep you in my prayers.
