Yes I do. I feel very sorry for Marcus’s predicament, but in the same breath know that he will leave a huge hole in the England side. His partnership with Andrew Strauss has been crucial to England’s success over the years, as has his leadership around the team. I personally hope he is back on his feet soon because I know how much he loves the game of cricket, which is worse off without him on the ground.

I do not think it will make any difference as Trescothick has not been in best of form in the recent past.

Yes, I do. He scored the most runs of any England player after Kevin Pietersen in 2005. As well, they won't have Vaughan so it means that they will have a new look top order this series.

It will be interesting to see how England's new look batting order copes with the Australian attack in Australian conditions.
