Hello any PSP user with Firmware 3.00,1. Is there any way you can download PS1 games on your PSP without a PS3

and is what is a firmware dumper. There is a dumper released for the newest firmwares (aka 3.00 and 3.01), and i don't know what it does and if it bricks your PSP. Should I use the dumper or not? thanks for your time in answering the questions.

1) No! You can't download PS1 games onto your firmware 3.00 or 3.01 PSP without a PS3 yet. I heard that it might be possible later, but I highly doubt it. Also, if you bought a PS1 game from the Sony store onto your PS3, you can even send it to a friend. However, that friend MUST register the game on their OWN PS3. Is really dumb, so don't even bother upgrading, if you haven't already upgraded.

2) A firmware dumper is a homebrew application for the PSP that lets you dump all the prxs and other files from the "DATA.PSAR" file. This makes it kind of possible for developers to make programs that let you emulate that specific firmware whose files you dumped. The firmware dumper CAN'T brick your PSP because it doesn't write to the flash. Don't use the dumper because you have NO use for it. The files are useless unless you're an expert PSP developer.

I dont be attentive to of any hacks yet I definitely have heard which you will plug your psp memory card into your laptop and positioned movies and video games on there yet i dont be attentive to in spite of if that's real or not. Ifi i've got been you i wounldnt hack the psp simply by fact it additionally disadvantages to wreck the psp. only purchase them legaly or in case you artwork out attempt a small activity like the video games that come on your laptop like pinball.
