. Sounds like an anxiety disorder to me. I had similar symptoms a while back due to medicine I was taking for melanoma. I was treated with Valium. This only advisable as a short term help. The stuff is addictive. I didn't have any trouble stopping it when I no longer needed it, but I know of an older man who could not get off the stuff.
. If the anxiety is caused by something temporary in your circumstances, and you are not prone to addictions, Valium. or a similar drug, might be a good treatment, prescribed by a physician who has thoroughly studied your symptoms and situation.
. If this anxiety has been a long term condition, you almost certainly need the help of a psychiatrist. If you go to a psychiatrist, you, yourself, must take an active role in assessing the results of whatever treatment is prescribed. If you do not see improvement in a couple of months, and then a condition of near "normalcy" in about a year, you probably should find another psychiatrist. My personal advice is that you detrmine up front whether the psychiatrist is open to all accepted forms of treatment. If you talk to one who believes only in talking therapy, or one who only prescribes medicines, you may cut yourself off at the outset from the treatment which is going to work best for you.

Nutritional Deficiencies.
NOTE: I am NOT a doctor, and I am NOT diagnosing, or prescribing treatment.
OK, with the disclaimer in place, I will tell you that I think you put something into your system that threw it totally out of wack.
Did you consume lots of "Energy Drinks" just prior to the symptoms you're feeling?
Over consumption of "Energy Pills, and Drinks" produced similar effects on me a few years ago.
You would do yourself a world of good if you were to go to your local health food store and get some wheatgrass juice.
Wheatgrass juice is available in powdered form at most local health food stores. Some health food stores have juice bars in them and sell fresh juice.
In addition to drinking wheatgrass juice, I recommend you see a Nutritionist.

Sounds like "manic-depressive" behavior. You might want to spend some time with a clinical psychologist. There are medications that can help restore your chemical balance and bring back your old self.
