Does anyone know if there is a video or helpful directions on how to do the splits. Like tips and good stretching techniches. Thanks a lot. I really appreaciate it.

do your splits with your front leg on a mat so you do over splits.. then keep your arms up for 20 seconds.. it hurts a lot but you get them down.. also you can do this with you back leg up also! another way is to do straddle and pike to stretch out your muscles first.. good luck.. and once you get them.. do them everyday so you dont loose them.. especially after you condition!!

It is important to warm your body up before you try to do your splits. You should run for at least five minutes to get your core body temperature up. This makes it easier to stretch. Then stretch your hip flexors by doing a lunge position with one knee on the ground then straighten your knee (stretches your hamstring). And remember don't push yourself to much. If you do a little a day, you will get them in no time...Good Luck!!

Yeah there is a way to learn the splitz faster. first go into the pike postion on the ground and hold for 30 seconds, then go into the straddle postion and hold for 30 seconds. All of the other basic stretches and you will go down a little each day. Hold each one for 30 seconds. Keep working on it and you will get it!!

first put your GOOD leg in front and push on it. then lean back on the other leg. then push again and slide forward.
