OK, I just went look outside. At midnight Orion will be nearly straight up. Three bright stars in a line are Orion's belt.

What are you people talking about? Last night the constellation Orion was directly overhead here [in FL] at about 5 this morning. How can it be directly overhead OH at midnight?!?!? The earth spins the other way.

Face south, look halfway between the horizon and straight up, just a little bit to the east...litlle bit more...little biiiiittttt...there, right there, three stars in a short rown going from your lower left to your upper right.

If you stand facing south and look up you will see it. It is absolutely beautiful this time of year.
For a look at orion before you go out, check this photo out. You won't be able to miss it, trust me!

I'm not sure, but it looks like three stars in a row and easy easy to find, start looking EAST.
