No. I have dog food that has pumpkin in it, and friends that use pumpkin as a natural mild laxative.
The eggs and such in the pumpkin, however might bug there tummy, but it's nothing that's going to hurt or kill them.

pumkin is not poisonous, infact some vets recommend it for added fiber in certain situations. But if your cocker spaniel is not used to human food, or being in such quantity vomiting and diarrhea may happen. If it continues your pup may have whats known as pancreatitis, in which she/he needs to be hospitalized for depending on how severe. Only time will tell.

My dog loves pumpkin...but ate too much and had to give it back. Poor thing.
Also, a dog WILL eat potatoes, grapes, orange slices, apple, cucumber, tomatoes and other fruits/veggies...happily. Mine loves tomatoes and anything else I am eating. Just no chocolate/coffee and other known toxins.

Pumpkin is good for them.. but in moderate amounts.. the pumkin helps cats who suffer from hairballs.. and of course we know its good for dogs...
I fed my Halloween Pumpkins to our sheep and they loved them
deer will also eat them...
Whip cream is bad for cats and not terribly good for dogs
