If there is no possible way for you to be prego... try to do a few things. Relax more... and trust me i know that could be an issue all alone! But stress can cause you not to have a period. Also, other things that we do can cause us to miss. Maybe the way that ur eating is not healthy enough, Stress from school and or work, Kids, Parents, LIFE! gaining or losing too much weight at a time. Even a simple 3 pounds can throw u off track. Dont worry just relax. I have had that happen SOOOO many times and so has my friends. I am 26 yrs old now and I started at the age of 7 yrs old so just calm down and relax. The time to worry is next month if you miss that as well.

Tips for you to try in the mean time:
1) Relax, Meditate, or light an incense and candles and dont move. just lay in perfect silence in the dark with NO phone, pc, nada!

2) Try eating less meats and more fruit, veggies, nuts, beans, grains, etc. If you have to have meat try fish and polutry... (this is the greatest month for that :) huh? ) lol...

3) go to bed earlier even one hr earlier will help

4) lay off the caffine for a while... the difference will be amazing!

5) enjoy your body and your life and STOP freaking out!

Since women can ovulate more than once a month, the only way you can 'definitely' not be pregnant is if you haven't been sexually active (penile-vaginal sex) in the last month or so.

Assuming that is the case, as others have said, stress, excessive exercise, illness and insufficient nutrition (anorexia) can all make periods stop for a month or two-or may throw off your cycle altogether. If you are a young woman and haven't been menstruating very long, your body may just be shifting its normal hormonal patterns; it's not unusual for girls who have just started their periods to skip several months at a time, even after a few months of regularity.

If you're young and have started your period within the last year or so, I'd wait 3-4 months before worrying too much. If you're older and have been menstruating regularly for a year or more, I would probably say wait a month or two and if your period doesn't return, then make an appointment to see your family doctor. They can do simple blood tests to check your hormone levels-the next most likely reason you may be skipping periods. Most of these issues can be dealt with fairly easily, with few side effects.

The doctor can also talk to you more about the other possibilities (stress, eating habits, etc), to ensure those are all okay and aren't a reason your cycles have stopped.

Yes, most women do 'miss' a period occasionally. If you are under a lot of stress, radically changed your diet, started taking certain over the counter supplements, or recently started taking a new medication. Any of these, and a few others can cause you to miss a period.

On the other hand, if the only reason you "can't" be pregnant is because you've been using birth control / condoms. Think again. These just reduce the chance of pregnancy, not eliminate it. Pills fail, condoms break, sperm swim. So if you have been sexually active, you need to see a doctor, and have a blood test.
