You know the real truth? Liberals weren't against Wal-Mart until they started selling groceries. After that happened the union lobby started fueling the fires to get rid of a competitor that (heaven help us) isn't a union shop. America is a big enough place for both but unions want to have a strangle hold over their spheres of influence because they are not efficient enough to compete without big brother stepping in.
By the way Wal-Mart started out as a mom and pop shop. Are saying that someone with a different idea on how to run a business should not be allowed to try to succeed?

Personally I think this is a non issue. However interestingly the only national politician I am aware of that has had any influence as far as walmart goes is Hillary Clinton who was very active as a member of the walmart board of directors for 8 yrs.
