The Turkish Independence day falls on Novv 29 0r 30 so they celebrate the day, just not for the same reason.
Turkey is available in Turkey but the turkish people prefer lamb and chicken . Their cuisine is very much influenced by the Ottoman rule on their nation.

Thanksgiving is an American/Canadian holiday. I don't think you'd even able to find any turkeys in that part of the world. And they are not part of their diet.

Thanksgiving is an American holiday, it celebrates the pilgrims landing in the americas and the indians shared food with the starving idiots from england that later stole their land, killed their people and lied about everything. Greedy, thieves.
