If you do not know what I am talking about a link is below. I'm sure I am not the first ask this but lately I've been thinking of something, like there isn't anyone out there for me, and thats the right choice. Not because I can't find someone, but because I don't want to anymore. On the 25th of this month it will have marked 4.6 years since my last and only relationship, so I ask a question to those who I belive think as I do, or at least feel the way I do.

Would you mind sharing your story of how you knew being asexual was "you"? Sharing some of your thoughts, and giving some good resources?

Oh and one more thing, no I don't mean asexual reproduction like some people are going to say is the "real" def of asexual.

I'm sorry I asked this twice, but yahoo seems to be reporting me for violations if I accidentally choose the wrong category, and I wasn't sure where the correct category was.

I am not asexual, but have not found that special girl yet, have been single for alittle over 5 years and I don't mind. I would rather be single and happy than in a relationship and miserable. So, I am with you on this, I am not looking for my special one anymore. I shy away from people who want relationships.

Asexual is like the Greek Orthodox ideal of APATHEIA. Apathy to the lusts and passions.of the flesh.

I embraced apatheia when I learned that I was impotent and can no longer get hard, at all, and that no cures exist. I tried hormones and I tried viagra &*the other crap, and still limp.

No one will want an impotent lover. so I embraced APATHEIA.
