I mean, like one PC game that was great, and you didn't have o pay for online play. Doesn't matter what genre.

No, not Tetris. I'm thinking more of a RPG or Shooter. Even Adventure would work.

War Craft is my fav, but I use the cheat codes... I know I know... but I'm to impatient to do it the real way.

If you're looking specifically for something to play online, I'd lean towards the shooter genre. Counterstrike and UT2004 are both amazing and have tons of mods available. SW Battlefront 2 is pretty good, so is Battlefield 1942.

If you just want a cool game that you don't have to worry about paying a fee to keep playing, there's Civilization IV, Neverwinter Nights, Elder Scrolls: Morrowwind and Oblivion.

AGE OF EMPIRES series, awesone games. Each time you play it, especially online, each time a new adventure.
