There is no BEST. If there was, we'd all use that, and that hackers would develop viruses to go after that. You see, we all survive the best with diversity.

Some of the best computer virus programs that I know of are McAfee and Norton Anti-Virus. Download them on to your computer and if a virus is detected, it tells you from your taskbar. I have both McAfee and Norton, and they have seemed to keep my computer running. Just make sure to run a virus scan once in a while to make sure nothing got passed over.

I like the AVG anti-virus program. There's a "pay" edition, but also a free edition that works very well. It's available for download at the below link. Good luck.

My personal favorite is ZoneAlarm Security Suite. Although ZoneAlarm is best known for it's firewall, the security suite has a good antivirus program, spam filtering and spyware removal as well.

Currently McAfee.there are no antispyware or anti virus apps that can detect 100%.

Forget AVG! Get the masterpiece behind the new version of AVG
Its called EWIDO. Really the best thing there is.
Or F-secure
I have a free complete suite with everything to stay protected.

I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...! Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

Try going to Cnet downloads, they have many different typed and reviews. then select the one which suites your needs or requirements, and make sure it is compatible with your operating system.
