Dough ornaments, shrinky ornaments... a sugar cube house instead of a gingerbread house.

Topiary trees....I just saw one in a magazine made with a large styrofoam ball with wrapped,round hard peppermint candies glued all over the ball. Then they painted a wooden dowel red and white to resemble a candy cane and "planted" it in a white pot filled with floral foam and then glued the mint covered ball to the top of the dowel. To cover the foam in the pot,they poured those red cinnamon candies all over it. These would look so cute in several different sizes lined up on a mantel or down the middle of the table.

Make some coasters using pictures you take or cut from a magazine.
Decorate plain picture frames with seashells, buttons, etc. and add a favorite photo.
Make snow globes using baby food jars.

Ginger cookies man and house. And decorate with candies, etc, just be creative! I just buy those "ready to bake" dough (haha...lazy)

This activities need adult gardiance (such as the baking part), thank you.

you can give someone all the non-perishable ingredients to make something (ie cookies, brownies, etc.) in a jar with the cooking instructions with your own personal decorations.
