I'm going to my work's xmas party, and im wearing a dark green dress...i have black stilettos to wear with it, but, i REALLY love my red leather pumps. Would it be a stretch to wear the red pumps with the green dress?

Yeah.

That'd be tacky, tacky, tacky.

actually - if the dress is dark green & depending on the shade of red the outfit could look quite dramatic & if you feel comfortable wearing it then by all means do so. - just bring some red into your outfit elsewhere as well - maybe Christmas ear-rings with red & green ; a bracelet; scarf
sounds like something I might wear myself

To the person who said "red& green should never be seen" - take a look at the colours of nature- red roses/tulips ; etc
the saying was ** BLUE & green**

well i look at fashion and celeb ent. mags all the time and they never match.

plus it is the trendy thing now to wear all one color and then some bright, funky pumps on the bottom to make your outfit pop. the celebs do it, anway.

so if you have the guts do it. just don't wear anything else red.
unless of course you have clutch the same color as the shoes. other wise keep your id in your coat or your man's coat.

your jewlery should be kept to a minimum, earrings a must and if needed a necklace, one ring or bracelet on different hands.

I'd have to say. It's be okay if you do where them because it's Christmas colors but maybe they will look rather tacky but I don't mean it in a bad way or anything but maybe you should try a different dress. Macy's and JC Penny's might have what your looking for but if you don't want thet then maybe you can try different shoes or maybe you can just not listen to me. I hope you find what your looking for. Good Luck! Have fun at your party!

definitely definitely go with the black shoes. You can use other accessories if you want to incorporate some red. If your shoes are open-toed, slick on some vixen red polish or include a splash of red in your hair. If you wear the red shoes, they will become the focal point of your outfit and no one will pay attention to the rest of your beautiful self!

no sorry. this won't look good and will kill the view of your dress. wear your black ones or buy silver one or gold one or maybe the same color as your dress. you can go for red but it will look bad and weird. unless you want to give a christmas look.

i do no longer unavoidably think of so. Too many colours might desire to be too loopy, yet placed on what makes you happy and who cares what each and every physique else thinks. If the gown became into greater often than not gray, white, and black, (neutrals) that could be one element, yet with the aid of fact the gown is greater often than not eco-friendly, you should to adhere with eco-friendly as your accessory shade.

You know most of the time it would be no way! But i think it is the one and only time of year to show not only your spirit and festiveness by doing so! So go for it! Only way to get away with it.
