Each package weighing no more than a few pounds.

Other than the US Postal Service. UPS, FedEx and DHL are too high.

Is there anyone who can actually compete with the US Postal Service on price??

The cheapest way is Economy parcel Post...but it will travel by boat and can take as long as 3 months sometimes. The fastest, most inexpensive way is by Airmail Letter Post. You can ship any package under 4 pounds.

No, the USPS (US mail) has the best deal on all the stuff going around the world

Air Mail parcel post or Air mail envelop are the cheapest, unless you want to send a package by surface mail (which takes forever especially this time of year )

click here for the specific country

If you are shipping a book it may be even less and inquire on the toll free post office number
