In the last war, my job was (among other things) to bag and tag and then transport to the rear, the bodies and body parts of the men I'd lost. I was when SSGT Garza looked up at me and said"God Doc, I don't feel so...." I've never been the same since. I knew his wife and kids. I have three kids of my own.

When I was 4 1/2 years old, and my Mother died.... My life changed forever that day. It set me apart from the other kids, because at the time it seemed like everyone had both parents. Also, it made me realize at a very early age, that life is precious and a mystery.

Meeting my partner. He has helped me open up and become a better person. Since meeting him, my attitude towards life and other people have changed dramatically.
Sounds corny, but it is true. If we hadn't gotten together, I'd be a completely different person now. And not a better one! I was a real ice b*tch before him...

Being born.....lol
Missing being killed in a car accident by literally 6 inches.
I still carry a piece of the windshield, inscribed with the words "Carpe Diem"(cliched I know) on a piece of leather around my neck. It reminds me to take every day as far as I can take it....

this is a annoying question, of direction dropping ones mothers and fathers is an 2nd this is existence changing. the form that became by no ability predicted became an twist of destiny I had in 03 that stopped time as I knew it and perpetually altered my existence.

one was during my freshman year when my group of friends decided not to talk to me at all for a whole week. my attitude definitely changed for the better afterwards.

Watching my first child being born..WoW, that was a life changer I'll never forget..Been 25 years and still vivid. I had to confront my fears, assess my situation, and give up my selfishness..Well worth it.
