Shrink is a common slang for a psychiatrist (or psychologist). Being close with your mom would not seem to be reason for someone to suggest you are in need of mental help.

The person that said this obviously doesn't have a good relationship with their mother! A shrink is a therapist, and in my opinion the person who said that needs to go speak to one.

a shrink is a doctor for your brain where they talk to you and listen to you about your problem these people must think you are close in a sexual way and it suspends on what way you mean close if it is the way they think that is wrong.

its a person trained in psychotherapy, helps you sort out your conflicting emotions/hidden feelings, confusions by the power of suggestion.
close relationships are mostly healthy, often complex.
shrink can help you work out the foundation of your relationship, is it motherly-daughterly love, mutual respect or need, or some thing more.
what else did you tell about your relationship?

They were joking but they're probably wierd, your relationship to your mom is not incest and by saying you are close to your mom does not mean so. That other person is wierd.
