Is there any way to brace for it? Are most people able to "fluff" through it like usual?

One time we were invited to my brother and sister-in-laws house for T-giving dinner. When we got there the turkey was across the dining room on the floor not in good shape for eating. I found out that my brother had been sleeping all day while his wife had been slaving over the stove making thanksgiving dinner. Well it seems that he woke up and it wasn't time for us to be there and start dinner, so he went downstairs the nicely cooked turkey was sitting there. He was hungry so he just pulled a big turkey leg off and ate it. My sister in law came in and saw what he had done and threw the whole turkey across the room at him. Needless to say, we didn't have dinner there that day.Funny now but it wasn't then.

Holy hell breaks loose deciding whose house to have thanksgiving at. Someone always ends up offended.

now, listen. when you brace is when you get hurt. There is gonna be no big drama at the Thanksgiving table. "Most" people want to enjoy it, to savor it, to laugh, to talk, not to worry about things because maybe they haven't been all together with the people and maybe it will be a while before it happens again.. And it is not "fluffing" it is sincere. "Most " people want a genuine, real nice time.

Not quite that bad, but once I invited a family to Thanksgiving with me and my daughter. On Thanksgiving morning the mom called and said they weren't coming because she was mad.
Our dogs had an nice feast with us!
I'm still close to this family, but I'm not getting involved with them for holidays anymore.

you're very racist and prejudiced. I by no ability choose human beings in line with their dermis tone,in basic terms via ethical character. A white guy could nicely be the two repulsive as a black guy or yellow guy or crimson guy or brown guy. on the comparable time, all races could nicely be very relaxing. I surely have ultimate buddies from each and every diverse race and way of existence.
