2. To keep mouth shut, and play it cool

No rhyme intended, and feel free to go into details , once again.

It is always best to keep your mouth shut. In Proverbs, there are several verses that refer to keeping quiet and how it makes you look smarter. So, I'd definitely go with number 2.

Well said, but you won't believe me, I know how to be the cool fool...

I'd keep my mouth shut, but my emotions are already written all over my face, so what's the use of shutting the mouth?

I think the trick is here to rather open up in a cool way.. but as I said, THE TRICK!

I keep my mouth shut in person; open up on the keyboard. I can edit on the keyboard if something looks dumb enough to need it. Sometimes I let the dumb stuff go through because I think someone might get a laugh from it.

to keep mouth shut and play it cool. alot of times people will say things and they have no idea what they are talking about and nothing to back up what they are saying and they end up looking stupid. But when you keep your mouth shut not only do you learn more by watching and listening but you also save yourself embarresment by looking like a fool

ahh, a question close to my heart right now. I have played it safe for most of my adult life, keeping quiet, sighing, putting on a game face. So, now, I am opening my mouth and looking the fool and everyone is shocked and literally saying who are you?

SO, now I am starting anew, I am not going to live that way anymore. It has already cost me, but i have already gotten something very very big and am moving forward.

Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Personally I do both, it depends on the situation and why I feel like I need to say something. If someone is harrassing or saying hurtful things about either my family, friends or me, I will be more inclined to do option #1. If something is said that really doesn't affect me or is none of my business option two would most likely occur.
