I have had my original PS2(not Slimline) for about 3-4 years. Just recently I put DMC 3 in my PS2 and it went to the main menu. I selected new game and said I wanted to do the Totorial. After I clicked yes the game went to the loading screen. It was loading for about 15 minutes and then it froze. This has happened to almost all of my PS2 games. What should I do?

Sell it, go to EB games and sell the thing and buy a slimline. It's well worth not haveing to hasle with games not wanting to load and mine started ruining my games because my laser eye got out of wack and made deep scratches in some of my games. The new slimline keeps getting cheaper so that's really the most logical answer if you are devoted to your PS2 games.

because your ps2 its old and its not upgraded like the ps2 now its upgraded.

try going to a store were you can get it CONGERSED aka cleaned from the inside.......
