It hangs in the way.
Hold it up toward the front of you and it won't get wet. That's what I do.

What I do is when I go pee I hold the string up to keep it from getting wet. I know it is gross but rather hold the string than having a pee soaked string in my panties!

because of the pee.......when you urinate pee gets all over 'down there'....that's why you wipe.......therefore, your string is going to get wet.......
