i was wondering if anybody knew any good places i can post poems at, like where people can tell you if they like it.

One site where you can post poems (but I'm not sure if you can post responses/critiques) is www.poetry.com .
To read some good poetry by professional or otherwise well-known poets, go to www.poets.org .

There's a great site called YourPoetryDotCom that is free to join and you could post your poetry or short stories there. You'll be able to read other peoples poetry and leave comments as well as get encouraging comments for your poetry by other poets. It's a great site and they are really friendly, I hope to see you there.
