I have 3 kids and lots of nieces and nephews. So on T-day dinner we ask each one of them what they are thankful for.
The answers are so great. one says, "I'm thankful for my Thomas the train blanket", while an older one says, "I'm thankful that my parents adopted me and kept me from harm".
Out of the mouths of babes!!!! I love this part and the innocence and truth of children. Gives me chills!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you!!!!!

About midnight, I sneak into the kitchen. I take a leftover dinner roll, split it, smear one side with mayo, one side with cranberry sauce (the kind with cranberries in it), slap on a piece or two of leftover turkey.

Then I have a snack while I stand over the kitchen sink in the dark and look out at the street.
