I am wokring on building a new pc, and i was wondering what processor i should get for gamming. i was looking at 2 but im not quite sure they are too good.

Out of those - go for the pentium 4 - but the new intel's - core 2 duo's are really kicking a$$ at the moment. - I'd seriously consider looking at a low end one of those even if it's a little over budget.

Gamers use AMD processors 90% of the time. Celerons won't do. Get the best Intel P4 you can afford, or the best Athlon 64 you can afford in AMD. Whichever you choose, get a mid priced case and plenty of case fans. Try to get an ASUS mobo, they are very stable.
