What does refused mail mean when it gets returned to you? Did the person read it it you sent your mail to and did they read it or did someone else refuse it, etc? Anyone ever gotten refused mail before? Thanks a bunch. Also what does RTS Return to sender mean as well? Thanks a bunch.

Refused mail means that the receiover chose not to open or receive the letter/parcel whatever. The post office sends it bcak to the sender, I think.

Returned to sender is that same thing, except no one refused the letter/parcel. Usually the item is mis-addressed ahd the post man/mailman cannot find the correct receiver.

In both cases the item is sent to the sender's address at no extra cost.

When I had a return to sender letter it was because the address was incorrect or they were no longer there.
