What all can the Wii do?

I have heard a lot about it but I want to know what it actually does. Anyone out there have one? How much does one cost?

Youuse the controller as a bat, sword,or golf club in sports and fighting games. You could also point at the screen with the remote and use it as a gun. You could send messages to other people with the Wii and play against or with them online. You could check the weather or news. You could download games from NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, and Turbografx. You could play Gamecube games on it and use the old controllers with it. It has the fastest loading times and is the smallest console ever made.
