One year my mother got mad at my father and threw the uncooked turkey at him. It flew across the room, past his head and landed in the venetian blinds on a shelf. Needless to say it did eventually get cooked and life went on.

Nope, nothing like that ever happens. We go to my fiances moms for the day. We do joke around with each other all day and evening, but other than that, nothing bad happens with the food.
