Why do 98% of scientists say global warming is real, while the neocons say it's a liberal hoax?

What a wonderful term of the ignorant, "neocon". That in itself kills your credibility. I go on, what evidence do we truly have that this is in fact taking place? I have gone on many sites, read many articles, and listened to many lectures. So far nobody has made an impression. I have read that the actual temperature change has only been 0.4% and some others will go higher. At the same time Al Gore, the founder of the Internet and all around genius, makes a movie giving global warming two thumbs up. This man is qualified because? If you were in a room full of colleagues and decided to go against the mainstream "thinkers" and speak against them they would have the potential to ruin your career. They aren't going to tell the governments around the world that there may be a chance this might not be true, they aren't willing to take that kind of risk. Now 98% of what percent of scientists? Where are these scientists from and who determined them to be independently minded and not politically motivated? That's just like saying 4 out of 5 dentists...

Don't believe anything you read and only 1/2 of what you see. Of course, Global warming is real. The last Ice age has gone away, has it not? So, we must have global warming. Do people contribute to global warming? Probably some small amount, after all we ARE Warm and we breath in oxygen and breath out CO2, we must be part of the problem. What is Al Gore going to do about it? Kill a whole lot of people? Invariably that is what Socialists do when they take control of a country. Is that better than destroying their economy and causing millions to starve to death?

But next of the scientist that agree there is global waming, there is no agreement at all on what is causing it.

( and of course in the 70's all of the scientiest warned us about global cooling also)

The fact is the earth warms and cools, in several ways,
Remember the ice age and the warming that melted it ???

So the issue is no one knows man has any cause in it what so ever, and that much can really be done,

The same people that claim it is a issue, don't let us build atomic power plants, drill for oil off shore and so on,
So sadly they wish to find the problem but not a way to solve it.

Just pretend there's global warming, heres what you would do
We would start to look for alternative energy sources Clean burn fuels to replace fossil fuels
1. There would be research and development that would create dozens of new business"s in this search. It could dwarf the technology boom of the 90's
2. These business's would create or boost other business's to partner with, supply parts and services
3. All these new business's could create thousands upon thousands of new jobs1,2 and 3 would all be good for the economy
4. We could stop shoving money into the pockets of mega rich Arab Sheiks and oil companies and there CEO's. every time you pull up to the pump you know one of these SO B's gets a cut. It might even scare them into dropping the price of gas
5. It would take the power outta the hands of rogue country's in the middle east and make them a non factor by making us energy independent
6.And ............OH YEA we might clean up the eviroment so we dont leave our kids a filthy sewer of a planet!!!!

So what would be the drawback about doin this?

Not looking for %, if you know 98% you must know the actual numbers. Oh, did your % come from a Liberal tree hugger? I've seen reliable studies not by tree huggers that argue your theories are garbage.

In the 70's these so called same scientist also said of the coming ice age!!!!! Didn't happen!!!! Global warming is a theory!!!! It is a made up truth that subitutes for fact!!!! The same number of scientist that says it is real is countered with the same number that says it is not real!!!!! Al Gore is trying to sell a theory, plain and simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a hoax. What we're experiencing is the end of the last ice age. The warming is part of the normal cycle and then the cooling will begin in about 5,000 years
