I am going to answer this without looking at other responses.
Yes, I do snore due to the fact that I have sleep apnea, and the doctors have not figured out why I cannot breath through my nose. I have been to several doctors and they all keep saying that we are going to run more tests on you.
Now, why does it have to be men that snore. My wife snores, and I know some other ladies that snore.
I know of ladies that have sleep apnea as well as men do. Sex has nothing to do with snoring.
I may not have answered your question the right way, but it is my honest answer.
Happy Thanksgiving.

There are many reasons for snoring. Sleep apnea being the biggest cause...and reports have 3 out of 4 men suffering some form of it.

They snore and completly deny it!
My grandfather snored so loud I think the neighbors could hear it, but he always said he didn't. My husband denied that he snored until I showed him a video tape of him sleeping.

So women have a way of telling when they're actually asleep instead of just being lazy and lying there.
