i was wondering if anyone knew a site i could go on or an online free manual i could look at for my 89 toyota supra. it has the same engine as the cressida. i have the transmission detent cable (the one that controls downshifting) (part of throttle cable assembly) and need to know how to put it on. need to know if i need to remove anything or if there is a simple way to do it. thanks.

i own a repair shop,and i think on this one you have to remove the trans-pan,and it hooks on from the inside of it,i have did those before,but its been a while ,but i think that's it,,i don't know of any sites that have it up for viewing,,good luck i hope this help,s.

I know the model well but cant remember enough to help you.
Try your local library they will have a manual to help you.
The cables don't require replacing very often. Sorry I cant be any more help. Waltz.
