I started to write a story about a friend of mine, of our future, of what we're going to do. I was so confident when i started it. But now she's down and out that i feel finishing the story is no good. She is my inspiration when i started it, i did it for her to make her happy. Should i still finish the book even if she's not as interested in it anymore?

Of course! Write her a happy ending and give her back her confidence in herself. Your story could be the inspiration she needs to get back on track. Help her visualise herself being successful...

It may be time to do some practice work. Try writing a short story. Take a snap shot of your life with words. Write a poem. Write a small story about a moment in your past with an unusual character...

Sometimes you need to put a big project away for a few days or even weeks. Sometimes even years. Lord of the Rings was not a month long project if ya know what I mean. Good luck.

Take this quote, "It is better to write for the self and have no public than to write for the public and have no self."

Of course continue writing!! It's YOUR book, not hers!

And realize that you need to motivate yourself someimtes and be your own inspiration.
