Since were obviously using "adult make believe" I'll answer accordingly. Santa doesn't need money, because he's Santa. Obviously if he has enough magic to fit down a chimney full of hot burning wood, BUT he doesn't have enough magic to just make the toys, so he has to do it another way. He has elfs who BUILD and MAKE his toys. The elfs are on welfare though because they don't get a salary and they need to supply food and housing for their little elf kids. Santa and Mrs. Claus spend all summer working at the McDonalds on the north pole to purchase toy parts that the elfs can use to make the toys. Then parents send money to Santa every year in the "Make a Christmas dream come true" foundation and Santa Clause pays his electric bill and eats with that money. Thats how it's done.

Santa clause doesn't travel around the world, every country has a Santa clause, the companies who deal with Santa clause pay him money to buy gifts.

Santa doesn't have money, he has elf, so they can make toys for the kids or Santa's magic make the toys for all the nice kid in the world.

he doesn't need money we has magic. all the good will he uses from giving things to kids gives him more magic and he uses that to get supplies to make the toys

Santa Clause is a lie that adults shouldn't tell to children.
that a stranger brings them gifts that their parents won't buy them.
So they learn to trust strangers and hate their selfish parents.
when all the time he is just a lie, doesn't make any sense.
