I'm buying a house in 1 month and need to come up with a few thousand dollars for closing costs and such. Any ideas of how to make some quick money? I'm not looking to make something for nothing...I'm willing to work. I'm just not sure where to start. Thanks!

Do you have a car? since its holiday time people are looking for delivery drivers for gift baskets. you could make some extra cash there. For example; My mother in law asked me if I wanted to deliver some fruit baskets that their friends build during the holidays. It pays $20 an hour under the table plus gas and its 40-80 hours a week until Christmas, unfortunately I have some consulting business I have previously committed to overseas, but that would be roughly $6400 before Christmas without taxes. Look for somebody that you would order these baskets from locally. if not fruit baskets try cheese or baked goods or flowers if not delivery then assembly. You will find something and work as many hours as possible and keep it off the books. Remember its for your house, I'm doing the same thing but I've paid my closing costs.

First of all, if buying that house is conditional on getting a few thousand dollars that quickly what will happen when something goes wrong in the house??? You may be getting in over your head from the start which is not a good way to start as a home owner. You may want to consider renting out a room in the home to help with expenses. You might also want to see if the organization below (Ameridream) may be able to help you. You might want to consider selling things from your current residence that you don't really need to move with you like on Ebay. You might want to consider reducing some of your current expenses (cable services, cell phone, high interest credit cards, etc). Having a home is a wonderful thing if you can afford it but you are already stressing out over money so that's not going to make a house a home. Be true to yourself.

if you have any place in your town that you can donate plasma, go and give that a try. It doesn't get you a lot of money each week but it is some. You get about $40-$50 per week. It is in cash and is a way to help save for your house. Also, put some money aside out of each paycheck you get, try asking your bank for a small loan for the amount you need. Hope this helps.
