You really need to take some sociology classes to understand. I used to think the same way.

I think these days I'm what is known as an African American male. Since this race has suffered slavery and continues to suffer racism I kinda understand your plight as an underprivileged caucasian. I know that there are a lot of caucasian families that have trouble footing the bills as much as every other ethnicity. The problem is, that in this country, caucasians have been and still are for the most part the most privileged race of all.
It may seem unfair that there is no caucasian scholarship but having been the most privileged race in this country since its inception; how would one ascertain which caucasian is worthy of the scholarship and which is not.
There are special privileges for just about every ethnicity, sexual preference, gender, disability etc.
Even the wealthy want more sppecial privileges.
Why not a caucasian scholarship?

Never heard of Asian based scholarships, except those offered by Asians governments to their own people.
To answer your question, I suppose if race needs to be a prerequisite for a scholarship, then the receiver must not be qualified in any other way to receive one?
At least race based scholarships are better than lowering the admittance standards, like UCLA did several years ago just so that more unqualified people could get in; rather than offering remedial courses to bring those applicants up to the previous standard. Another part of the dumbing down of America.

To be honest, throughout history almost everything has been dominated by white people.I still can't believe we have never had a black President. But then again, Jesse Jackson, Al sharpton & the OBAMA, aren't exactly good candidates. I don't really care about anything that has to do with race, because I don't have problems with any race . We all bleed red. Nat'l black history month is just another month. Lincolns birthday is just another day. Let it go. The only people who call out RACIST every time some body mentions black, asian ETC... are racist themselves.

Everyone seems to believe that we are all born with a silver spoon in our mouth and don't ever need help.If they would only open their eyes and take a look at the real world they would know different.
