Does anyone have any product suggestions in particular?

Buy a beard trimmer and instead of shaving the area you wish to be 'stubbly', use it instead. I have had two and both work well. You can use no gauge guard and get down to about 1/8". I use the lowest gauge on certain parts of my beard, but you need to get a battery operated trimmer.

I think a beard trimmer would work better but i use a normal razor and just go trim about half the hair off - doesnt always work perfectly but i sometimes prefer it than a full shave coz u dont get the itchiness after

Use the pop trimmer u get on most electric shavers that trim sideburns..it cuts hair down to a milimeter so use that every 2 days

get one of those hair trimmers the ones with different comb attachments and shave it off with no comb on it as a no.1 will be too long

Wsh your face with Gin,,then the hairs will come up half cut
