Okay this is a stupid question to some but our last child just sort of happened no planning needed. I have a regular 28 day cycle and ovulate day 14 or 15. We are TTC so if we have sex on day 6 of my cycle can we get pregnant? If not when should we have sex for baby making?

I would say day 6 is too early to conceive, since you are 8-9 days prior to ovulation. Sperm live a max of 5 days within your body under IDEAL conditions (3-4 days is more likely). Your egg lives only about 24 hours after it is released.

For the best chance of pregnancy, have sex every day the 4 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation. If you suspect your partner has a low sperm count for any reason, do it every other day starting 4 days prior to ovulation and the day of as well. Then wait. Even if everything is timed perfectly, a healthy couple still only has a 20% chance of conceiving any given month, so give yourself some time.

well, sperm can stay inside your body for 3-5 days, but your egg can only stay healthy and alive for 24 hr. Day 6 may not be the best time to get your egg fertilized, since it is probably not even released yet. Have sex around (better before) your ovulation date, since the sperm stays alive within you for a while, you are most likely to get pregnant at that time.

Yes sure..depending on when you ovulate in your cycle. The best thing to do because everyone ovulates at different times, is to buy an ovulation predictor kit. That way, you will know EXACTLY when you should have sex.

you should be able to get pregnant whenever your bodies are ready. It really is up to the body if it rejects pregnancy or not try taking the prenatal pill or folic acid it helps to get the body ready to carry a baby. just keep trying it could take weeks or months good luck.

First of all, "we" are not going to get pregnant--"you" are going to get pregnant. I don't have a clue what TTC means, but stop trying to worry so much about this! Does this consume your whole life? If it's meant to be, it'll happen. lol
