I was at Catholic school..we were getting ready to go to church and the adults were all crying.I was 13 years old. The Kennedys both had strong impact on my life which continues to this day in the way I reared my children in part and in my poltical activism.
He gave us hope for a better country as did Bobby. We were all crying and stunned.
Champs words above moved me to tears when he said "He gave us hope and pride, and the knowledge that we would always do the right thing, that we would never be ashamed of our government, that the will of the people would always be respected. I lost My Hero, we really need him now." Amen..do we need someone like him today...

there have been some unusual issues about the assasination which have nevertheless no longer been defined. The "magic bullet", and slug got here upon mysteriously left on the stetcher of John Connally, as if it purely fell out of the wound by itself, yet that Oliver Stone movie purely went too a techniques in making stuff up. there is also recent blood spatter diagnosis showing that the killing shot did surely come from the sixth floor of the Dallas e book depository progression. So i'm nevertheless a touch on the fence... by widespread conspiracy theories, although; The mafia The Communists Kennedy himself

Thanks for remembering, it seems like a different world now, like a nightmare that we can't wake up from, I was eighth grade, the announcement brought tears and shock that we had never experienced. Everything changed that day, 43 years and I still don't want to believe it. These politician pretenders that say his name make me sick. He gave us hope and pride, and the knowledge that we would always do the right thing, that we would never be ashamed of our government, that the will of the people would always be respected. I lost My Hero, we really need him now.
