It varies from person to person. For me it was about 6 weeks. It could be a little longer, up to about 10 weeks.

It really varies from person to person. It could be right on schedule, but your period is more likely to be late. For some people, it takes up to 10 weeks. I suggest you check with your doctor to see what he/she expects in your case. After my miscarriage, my next period was right on time, but I was only 6 weeks pregnant at the time. How far along you were will be influence when you start again.

I had a period about 6 weeks after the D&C. It is different for every woman. I had my D&C on August 11th and I just had my first normal period. It will take about 2 to three cycles to return to complete normal. Wishing you the best.

Because D&C removes the endometrium (that thing that you shed when you have your period), one to two months should bring you back to normal.
