To get people in the mood to spend lots of money.

"Oh, I feel so Christmassy with that music, if only I had another peice of tinsel to go in that spot there! Hmm - where's that sale??"

i'm a extensive Christmas man or woman. The day after Thanksgiving is when I initiate listening to Christmas music under New Years Eve. Christmas basically comes as quickly as a year, so why no longer savour mutually as its right here.

WHYYYYYYYY NOTTTTTTT??

Christmas music has an enchanting, a beguiling quality about it, that, when heard, when listened to, causes the listener to have a very Dramatic chemical change in her/his head---

That chemical change is commonly known as "happiness", as "good will", or as "joy".

Presently I am listening to www.di.fm/christmas.
and other than the ridiculous songs, the traditional Christmas songs of my youth make me feel young and expectant, again. Can you please tell me, what is wrong with that?? I AM WAITING.

What if everyone, everywhere, treated everyone, everywhere like it was Christmas, everyday??

People are more friendly, more happy at this time of year, and nothing you or anyone can say will change that. **But--if--we all were as happy, as we all are at Christmas time, the other 364 days of the year, could you find a reason to complain??

Merry Christmas, to you~!!

Probably to annoy us and get us to be sooooo sick of it by Christmas. I do like Christmas music but only for the week or two before Christmas

If you're speaking of in the stores, it's because they want to try to get you to spend money - you hear the music, you think about Christmas and then you think that you need to start buying your gifts.
On the radio - it's just to get you in the mood (and maybe a little bit of the other, too).

friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, so christmas songs get people in the mood for christmas cheer.

Also, all the familys are together and most people know christmas songs

yes, it's for the money. People here Christmas songs, they feel like Christmas, which is usually about presents. Sadly, it has come to this.

I guess because some people like to get into the spirit of the holidays earlier than you do.

Like some people decorate their homes a lot earlier than others.

It has an emotional impact like a commercial with kids and people laughing. It makes you spend more money.
It is all about the money.
